लखनऊ में कई ऐसे परिवार हैं जिनकी दूसरी या तीसरी पीढ़ी ने कविता को अपनाया है। एक पेशे के रूप में। प्रख्यात मिश्र ऐसे ही एक युवा कवि हैं। जिनकी तीसरी पीढ़ी कवि सम्मेलन के मंच पर सक्रिय है। वेदव्रत वाजपेयी देश की ओज की धारा के सबसे शक्तिशाली कवि माने जाते हैं। 1992 में राम मंदिर आंदोलन को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने में अहम भूमिका निभाने वाले कवियों में कवि वेदव्रत वाजपेयी का नाम सबसे ऊपर आता है।
