पूनम वर्मा उन कवयित्रियों में से एक हैं जिन्होंने पिछले पंद्रह वर्षों में हिंदी कवि सम्मेलन के मंच पर मजबूती से अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई है। पूनम वर्मा कृष्ण की नगरी मथुरा में रहती हैं। उनकी कविताओं में राधा और कृष्ण के प्रेम की अनुभूति स्पष्ट रूप से महसूस होती है।
