The most difficult task for a poet is to choose a topic for writing a poem. Nowadays 90% of the poems in Hindi Kavi Sammelan are written on contemporary topics. Whatever is happening in the country and society is the subject of the poem. Many poems are come from the headlines of newspapers.

एक कवि के लिए सबसे कठिन कार्य कविता लिखने के लिए एक विषय का चयन करना होता है। हिंदी कवि सम्मेलनों में आजकल 90% कविताएँ समसामयिक विषयों पर लिखी गई हैं। देश और समाज में जो कुछ हो रहा है वह कविता का विषय है। कई कविताएँ अखबारों की सुर्खियों से आती हैं।
ऐसी कविताओं का जीवन भी बहुत लंबा नहीं होता। जब तक घटना ताज़ा है, तालियाँ बजती हैं कविता पर। कुछ कविताओं के विषय ऐतिहासिक हैं। और कुछ कविताएँ धार्मिक चरित्रों पर लिखी गई हैं। सबसे कठिन कार्य धार्मिक विषयों पर कविताएँ लिखना है क्योंकि इन विषयों पर कोई तथ्यात्मक जानकारी उपलब्ध नहीं है। व्यक्तिगत कल्पना से बहुत कुछ लिखा जाना है। ऐसी कविताओं का भावनात्मक पक्ष बहुत मजबूत होता है। और होना भी चाहिए अन्यथा सुनने वाला पात्र पर की गई टिप्पड़ियों में ऊंच नीच का भाव ढूंढ़ने लगता है |
अमन अक्षर कवि सम्मेलन का एक ऐसा नाम है, जिसने अपनी कविताओं के लिए धर्म से जुड़े विषयों को चुना। अच्छी बात यह है कि अमन अक्षर ने उन विषयों के साथ न्याय किया है। अच्छी कविताएँ लिखी हैं। इससे भी ज्यादा कमाल की बात यह है कि अमन की आवाज ऐसी कविताओं पर जचती है। वह बहुत ही सलीके से अपनी प्रस्तुति देते हैं। उनकी कविताओं में कोई प्रस्तावना नहीं है, कोई ऐतिहासिक संदर्भ नहीं हैं। कविता कल्पना के उस कोने से निकलती है जहाँ इतिहास के तथ्य समाप्त हो जाते हैं।

And some poems are written on religious characters. The most difficult task is to write poems on religious subjects because no factual information is available on these subjects. A lot has to be written from personal imagination. The emotional side of such poems is very strong.

सारा जग है प्रेरणा प्रभाव सिर्फ राम हैं,
भाव सूचियां बहुत हैं भाव सिर्फ राम हैं
कामनाएं त्याग पुण्य काम की तलाश में
तीर्थ ख़ुद भटक रहे थे धाम की तलाश में
न तो दाम के न किसी नाम की तलाश में
राम वन गये थे अपने राम की तलाश में
आप में ही आप का चुनाव सिर्फ़ राम हैं
भावसूचियाँ बहुत हैं भाव सिर्फ़ राम है
Aman Akshar Kavi Sammelan has one such name, Who chose the subjects related to religion for his poems. The good thing is that Aman Akshar has done justice to those subjects. Well written poems. What is even more wonderful is that Aman’s voice suits such poems. He gives his presentation very softly. There is no prelude in his poems, There are no historical references. Poetry emerges from that corner of the imagination where the facts of history end.
