Suresh Awasthi is basically a poet of satire. Through the series of Dainik Jagran Kavi Sammelan, Suresh Awasthi has done a great job of taking Kavi Sammelan to big and small cities of states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand etc. He is associated with Dainik Jagran as Editor in Chief.

08 Deepak Gupta

The list of such poets is very long. Who initially kept writing ghazals and songs but the need of the stage made him a poet of satire. Deepak Gupta’s story is a bit different. Today Vineet Pandey is counted among the first class comic satirical poets of the Hindi Kavi Sammelan.

10 Damdar Banarasi

The city which has the distinction of being the religious capital of India is known by the name of Banaras. Nowadays Banaras is at the center of politics. Prime Minister of the country gets elected from here. Banaras has given many such poets in the past, on whose shoulders the weight of the entire period of devotion has been kept. Damdar Banarasi come from this historical city of Banaras. His fame as a satirical poet is in the whole country today.
